If you think that travelling is the most exciting hobby that exists, you are wrong. It is quite monotonous and can even destroy your life. What can be so passionate about exploring other culture and seeing, for instance, just a few random volcanoes in South America? If you ask yourself “should I travel to South America”, then our answer for this question is “no”. Stop travelling at all.

Boring landscapes

Just look at those views below. Are they beautiful, breathtaking and stunning? We do not think so. They are similar to Europeans ones, so it is quite strange that people tend to spend money to see something so boring. Moreover, there are almost no viewpoints, so it is unlikely that you will have an occasion to make a photo from the mountain or the peak of the volcano.

“Should I travel to South America?” – definitely not!

We have lizards or birds in Europe too. I would not recommend visiting South America just to admire exotic animals. Most of them would not attract your attention anyway. Also, it is very annoying while you cannot continue walking because a seal is lying on the path. Alternatively, when another seal is relaxing on the bench, you are unable to sit and rest after a long walk.

Fresh fish, fruits just plucked from the tree, and creamy soups are untasty and, first of all, not good for your health. The diet which does not contain preservatives, rippers and other chemical additives may cause much harm to your organism. Better go to the fast-food restaurant.

No adventures

In South America, you can try bridge jumping, canyoning, rafting, surfing and surviving with the group in the jungle for a few days. How can those be called an adventure? For most people, this is just a daily routine, something that you can do, when you are bored during the weekend. You would forget about such an experience after few days anyway, therefore don’t think about trying. Your photos of wild monkeys from the jungle would not impress your friends.

No civilisation

You thought that the major cities in South America like Quito, Lima or Guayaquil have historical & cultural heritage so you can see lots of interesting cathedrals, museum and monuments? You were wrong. They are just a third-world locations with no civilisation signs. Additionally, they are wild, poor and undeveloped places with no roads.

“Should I travel to South America?” No, we don’t recommend it.

Everybody hates tourists

Tourists are not welcomed in South America. They cause a big harm for the economy. Money which flows to local firms from accommodation, transport, tickets and food are useless. Furthermore, artists are not happy that people buy they handicrafts as the souvenirs. Why would they be? Especially if a tourist cares about the environment, inhabitants may protest and see you as their enemy. They will not talk with you. Instead, they will be unfriendly.

No diversion

Deserts, ocean, lakes, cities, jungle, volcanos, lagoons, rivers, mountains, plains… In South America definitively there is no diversion concerning landscapes. We mentioned that views are boring. However, they also look the same which is even worse. It is better to stop travelling rather than waste money. So stop now.
