Colca Canyon has a length of 75 miles (120 km). It is home for Andean Condor – you can observe those amazing creatures from an extraordinary viewpoint called Cruz del Condor. Other animals which live in the area are Andean gooses, hummingbirds, foxes, and deer.

The canyon can be described as green, full of life and nature. It offers the possibility to get familiar with the local culture as well as to relax in the nearby hot springs. If you feel hunger for adventures, then try hiking, biking or canoeing; all of them, of course, with the supervision of an experienced guide.
What is also interesting, there is a Valley of the Volcanos situated near Colca Canyon. It looks like a lunar landscape full of extinct vulcanos craters from which some of them may have even 300m.
